Own a piece of history
The limited edition reproductions have been created using the ‘Giclee’ museum-quality system, involving very high quality acid-free paper (made from Egyptian cotton) and using archival pigment inks, from an ultra-high resolution digital copy of an original of the newspaper insert from July 1877.
All editions purchased will be accompanied by an edited facsimile of the Illustrated Sydney News of Saturday July 21, 1877. This provides purchasers of these limited editions with a memento of the newspaper in which the map was originally inserted. This booklet provides an insight into the enormous excitement created by this historic event in Australian sporting history.
A printer’s certificate of authenticity will also be provided.
If you would like to discuss the potential purchase of an edition, please use the contact form below and we’ll get back to you within 48 hours.
You have the choice of a number of different sizes and framing options; including the strictly limited and signed Exclusive Edition.
DONATIONS TO THE BLACK DOG INSTITUTE
In recognition of Trickett’s own struggle with the ‘black dog’ of depression and their incredible work helping people with similar issues, Rafter Limited Editions has established a relationship with the Black Dog Institute and we will be providing a proportion of the purchase price of each limited edition to the Institute. The amounts of these donations are set out below in the pricing table. The donations form part of the purchase price and will be acknowledged by the Black Dog Institute directly through a receipt that will be usable for tax purposes.
Please indicate in your email if you are purchasing on behalf of an Institution (such as a museum, public library or university); we provide Institutions with a discount of 10% off the retail price.
